Our event this year went SO WELL. We had SO many wonderful artists come out to share their wares and so many of them had such wonderful things to say about the experience! We love our community so much and we thank you all for showing up!

See you next year! 😉
LATEST NEWS: BwPCon went super well!
BwPCon (Internally pronounced bwip-con!) is an idea that came about in early 2022 after our first few in person events went amazing. We love our artist community and we know how important vendor events are for them, so we wanted a way to support them while also keeping in line with our own standards of safety.
BwPCon will be a one day event, and depending on its success may return next year! We plan to host 18-20 vendors, along with live music, activities, and maybe even a guest speaker! Not to mention our wonderful comic shop in the middle of it all, along with the food cart pod on the other side of the building.
Want to attend? Then come by on the 2nd of July! Absolutely no tickets required. Masks required indoors, and preferred in the vending areas.

? FAQ ?
Is this an outdoor event?
Yes! This event will take place entirely outside, surrounding the Books with Pictures building. We plan to have a handful of tables along Division itself, with the main alley along the side of the building on Orange Ave, followed by a little nook back by our garden. The Garden area and Division Sidewalks both have adequate shade thanks to trees, but the Orange Ave Sidewalk is pretty in the open.
Will there be shelter provided from the elements?
We will be acquiring as many tents as needed to make sure everyone is safe from the sun or rain, if it should happen (cross your fingers it doesn’t! It’s SUMMER for crying out loud!).
What’s the deal with Masks?
We will not be requiring masks outside, but we encourage everyone to mask up if they can. Any trips inside of the building will require a mask, so keep that in mind as well! (Inside is where the bathroom is after all.)
Can we Cosplay?
ABSOLUTELY. You can, and absolutely should come visit us in your snazziest costumes, this IS a CON after all!
Is the Comic store still open during all of this?
Yes! Books with Pictures is open right in the center of all this and would absolutely love it if you stopped in in the midst of it all. Get a book for our guests to sign, or learn where that trivia question came from! Snag a zine from a local creator who couldn’t make it, get some gifts for your friends! COME ON IN!
